A list of therapies is not much use without knowing which problem each one suits, so this is organised the other way round.
If you have a mechanical pain problem — a neck, a low back, a shoulder, a knee: assessment and movement testing, hands-on work and needling for comfort, and a loading plan that is the part that lasts. With a re-test at four weeks.
If the problem is internal and ongoing — digestion, sleep, cycles, long fatigue: a long history, the tests that should have been done, and either a herbal prescription or a referral, depending on what the picture turns out to be.
If you are carrying a long list nobody has assembled: an hour to put it on one page, sort it by what it costs you, and separate what needs a doctor from what needs another practitioner from what is left for us. Often the most useful appointment we do.
If it is stress and the body it lives in: treatment for the physical side, and two specific changes to the week rather than ten general ones.
What we do not offer: weight loss programmes, detoxes, tests that will not change management, treatment of mental health conditions, or pre-paid packages.
Everything has a review date, and the review is a real decision rather than a formality — we either continue with a stated reason, change approach, or stop. Prices, including the likely cost of a course, are given before anything starts. The clinic is in Lane Cove, five minutes from the village, at 2 Austin Street opposite the library.
